An apex timber shed with double doors on a clean paved yard

Handmade garden sheds, built to last

A good shed does more than store the mower. Built properly, it keeps tools, bikes and garden kit dry and secure for years, and it actually looks the part in the garden. We are not a flat pack supplier — our sheds are solid timber buildings, properly framed and installed by our own team.

Built to handle the North West weather

Apex and pent storage sheds, larger workshop buildings, and combination shed and canopy designs. Every shed is made to order from quality pressure-treated timber and built to your size, by our own team, not panels you bolt together yourself.

FAQs

Before you get in touch

Do I need planning permission for a shed?

Most garden sheds fall under permitted development, depending on size, height and boundary distance. We check this at your free site survey.

Can I have a bigger workshop-style shed?

Yes — every shed is made to order, from a compact store up to a full workshop building.

What's a shed and canopy combi?

A shed with an attached open canopy area — storage plus a covered spot for logs, bikes or bins, built as one structure.

How much does a shed cost?

From £825, depending on size and finish. You'll get a precise quote after a free survey.

Can the building go straight onto grass?

No — installing directly onto grass or soil isn't something we recommend or offer. It significantly shortens the building's lifespan and increases the risk of panels shifting or misaligning over time. A proper base makes all the difference.

Do you lay bases?

We work with a network of trusted contractors who can lay your base ahead of installation. Any work carried out by a contractor we introduce you to is their responsibility, not ours.

Does a tanalised building need treating?

Tanalised timber is pressure-treated to protect against rot, but it isn't fully waterproof until an oil or paint has been applied. Since timber is porous, we'd always recommend an additional preservative to help it stand up to the weather.

What if there's no direct access into my garden?

With advance notice, we can manufacture panels in smaller sections to get them through a garage or tighter access points — this usually carries a small extra cost. We can't install through a house or over walls and garage roofs, but give us a call and we'll talk through what's possible.

We'll talk you through the options, advise on planning, and find the right garden building for your space and your budget.
